Real estate is the most preferred investment asset for rich Indians, but now they are thinking of investing in cryptocurrency as well.
According to the Hurun Indian Survey, wealthiest Indians called as High Net-Worth Individuals (HNIs) in India are more likely to invest in Bitcoin than other cryptocurrencies as they believes cryptocurrencies are good investment. This news was first reported by local Indian english news agency Financial Express on 30th Aug. 2019. Real estate is the most preferred investment asset for rich Indians, but now they are thinking of investing in cryptocurrencies as well.
According to the survey, One tenth of wealthy Indian respondents will invest in digital currencies in the next three years. Almost half of the respondents, did not have much knowledge of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.
Those who had knowledge about cryptocurrencies, 29.15% out to that preferred to invest in Bitcoin, 8.74% and 6.80% preferred to invest in Ethereum and XRP respectively.
