Huobi Backed Firm to Launch Blockchain Smartphone Next Week

'"Acute Angle" smartphone can be purchased using the Huobi Token

One of the largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, Huobi plans to launch a blockchain-powered smartphone "Acute Angle" in Southeast Asia next week in sixth Huobi Prime launch on Sept 11. The Acute Angle smartphone is on the Android operating system developed by Whole Network partially funded by Huobi Capital. The smartphone costs $ 515. The smartphone can be purchased using the native Huobi token (HT) of the Huobi Exchange, and customers are also offered discounts on the Huobi Prime.

Huobi’s Global CEO Livio Weng stated,

“As the industry develops and as innovations like 5G become increasingly integrated into our telecommunications systems, we believe more and more crypto communities will want to trade and transact from mobile devices”

Acute Angle Smartphone features includes built-in crypto-ready push trade notifications, a dapp wallet, an optional cold-wallet plugin. According to the press release, The Acute Angle smartphone is already available in China, but the official launch will take place during the sixth Huobi Prime launch on Sept 11 next week. Several blockchain smartphones are already available in the market including Finney of Sirin Labs and Exodus of HTC.
