Iran is looking crypto as a solution to the devitalising economic sanctions that have been imposed by the U.S. on Iran
According to the report published by IIDO owned Mehr News Agency on 29th July shows that the decision was taken by the Iranian Government this weekend, during a cabinet session headed by Iran's President Hassan Rouhani.
Now cryptocurrency mining is officially legitimate and the people or companies involved in such activities will have to take a license from Iran's Ministry of Industry.
Subsidised Electricity rates will going to attract global cryptocurrency miners from locations such as china to Iran as currently subsidised electricity rates are at half a cent per kilowatt, Mehr News Agency reports.
The cryptocurrencies mining regulation comes at a time when Iran is looking crypto as a solution to the devitalising economic sanctions that have been imposed by the U.S. on Iran.
