Criminals Selling $10000 Fiat Money in Exchange for $800 Bitcoin on Dark Web

Yes, you heard it right, but doing such transactions may also cause you jail. Online criminals and hackers selling hacked fiat money for bitcoins at less than 12.5% of its actual value on dark market.

According to a report published by security-as-a-service firm Armor in September, They have spent five months (from February 2019 to June of 2019) combing through twelve different underground hacker markets and forums (both English and Russian speakers) and selling a number of illegal items purchased and sold in these digital storefronts. They found that these dark markets and forums are growing.

As per the report of Armor’s Threat Resistance Unit (TRU) research team, one of the key offering on the dark web and one of the cleverest services spotted was where a buyer can pay a seller $800 in Bitcoin and have $10,000 and there are plenty of hackers willing to simply transfer stolen funds to the bank account or PayPal account of your choice or send you the funds via Western Union.

The reason behind sellers offering bitcoin at low prices on dark web is seller need not to take possession of the stolen funds themselves. It transfers all the risks of stolen cash directly to the buyer and the buyer may face some difficult times.

Our advice to all the buyers of cryptocurrencies around the world is that if you get such lucrative offers on cryptocurrency, it can trap you and you may face some difficult times. Because if such offers are legit then why would anyone sell it at such low prices.
