One of the reputed and well know cryptocurrency exchange, Coinbase is expanding crypto-to-crypto trading services to 11 more countries which includes India, South Korea, New Zealand, Argentina, Mexico, Peru, Colombia, Chile, Hong Kong, Philippines and Indonesia.
USA based Crypto Exchange announced this news in its recent blog that it is now offering the crypto-to crypto services via both Coinbase.com as well as Coinbase Pro, which is its professional trading platform.
As per announcement by Coinbase:
Customers from 11 countries, can now sign up on Coinbase.com and download our iOS and Android apps, or sign up for a Coinbase Pro account, to access crypto-to-crypto trading options.
With this announcement, now Coinbase has its presence in a total of 53 countries across four continents, from earlier 32 countries in two continents.
As per the company, the direct trading between crypto-to-crypto on its platform has overtaken traditional fiat-to-crypto trading over a last year. Verified trading volume figures, crypto-to-crypto trades reached 51% of the total in February 2019 as compared to 41% in August 2018:
